I really
liked this song/poem but to be honest, I was unsure what it was about. I really thought it was set-out well and I liked the words. It could be that i am a bit tired and not seeing the obvious. Liked it tho'

thanks for commenting,
actually, I think it's totally up to the reader what they see in this poem... I don't even really know it myself
okay, I'll try and give a short explanation of what was going on in my head when I wrote this...
I was thinkin of Fahrenheit 451, time wasted on nothing in particular, people being controlled by the media, permanent noise to cover the emptiness/silence in people's heads, being afraid of silence because being alone with no distraction 'forces' people to think
the third stanza is just random words thrown together to show how disjointed people's 'thoughts' are, saying lots of things with no meaning
and the last line... maybe someone trying to break away from this enslavement by the media etc. and finding no other way than killing themselves because they can't take it anymore (one of those few individuals who hafve not completely lost their sanity yet)... the gunshot creates silence because it renders people speechless... at least for a moment... maybe they will realize how senseless their lives are
I don't know if any of this makes sense to you... but I'm glad you took the time to comment on this write!
