What is this?

Would it hurt like bullets through a broken heart?
Is it suppose to pain this much when we're apart?
Is missing you part of it all?
Is my face lighting up normal when you call?
Are my thoughts ok only reflecting you?
Should I hold on and see this through?
Would the butterflies in my stomach go away?
Would you hold on and forever stay?

I don't know how to explain what I feel
This thing you call love is it real?
Is my mind just messing with me?
Did i just imagine that we're meant to be?

I don't want to fall so fast
...jump into something that just won't last
But babe it's kinda hard to hold back for so long
So promise me you'll do nothing wrong
Love me like you've love no other
Tell me to love you and not another
But most importantly make me smile all the time
Isn't that what you fell for what made you mine?

    Wonderful work. Very deep and full of heart felt questions which so many peope can relate to in their relationships. This certainly was very relatable for me. The outcome was not possitive for me, but this piece feels optimistic. Great work.

    just a few gramatical errors.
    Is it suppose to pain this much when we're apart? --> supposed
    Did i just imaging that we're meant to be? --> imagine

    You words flowed really nicely and hold so much emotion. Absolutely brilliant touch with the rhetorical questions , great dramatic effect. You use such vivid imagery and metaphors. This was a great write!
