Hunger

There are many things to remember:

Must I forget –

hunger that flows in rivers
bridging desires
and vulnerable souls
with rainbows of senses?

warmth that triggers fireworks
melting longings
and molding tomorrows
with streams of wonders?

depth that craves wholeness
discovering pain;
mocking at youth
with necessary disgraces?

heaviness of your soul
gripping me in awe
feeding me insatiably
with hunger? With hunger!

Always with hunger.
