When Sparky, Dilly and Willy got to the stables, everyone there was already awake. a lot of animals lived in the stables, in the big barn. Sparky started introducing them to everyone.
In the first stall, #1, was where Jake lived. He was the farm donkey. "Good morning Jake" said Sparky, these are my friends, Dilly and Willy, they both quaked a hello, "Quak, quak" and Jake went, "he-haw, he-haw", to them. They all laughed.
The next stall, #2, was for Nelly, the farm cow. "Moo-moo", said Nelly when she saw the ducks. Both ducks quacked back to say hello, "quak, quak". Nelly was the sweetest of all the animals on the farm, and she loved to give milk to everyone, to drink. "Moo, moo", Nelly spoke again. "Come back to visit again", she told Dilly and Willy. "We will, quak, quak", they said.
The next stall, #3, was empty, because Nelly was expecting to have a calf soon. And the baby calf could sleep in that stall.
The next stall, #4, had a lamb in it. The lambs name was Smokey, because his wool looked like gray smoke. "Hi", Smokey said to Sparky. "Smokey, these are my friends, Dilly and Willy", said Sparky. "Baaa, baaa", said Smokey, when he said hello. Dilly and Willy laughed, and "quak, quak", they said, "We like you".
