As your words fade into memories,
the wound starts to heal.
I'm taking the mask off
so you can finally see how I feel.
But as i'm letting my guard down,
I fall for you all over.
Now the blood is dripping faster
as my heart is beating slower.
And when the beating finally stops,
hopefully I'll forget,
all the pain i had to go through
when the broken pieces never fit.
But, my shattered world,
you still hold in your hand.
And just like your memory,
it slowly comes to an end.
