you know when i started to write something for this contest, a shrivelled leaf was one of the ideas that popped into my head....and here you have it. What a wonderful haiku this is and so deserving of the gold. Congrats!

Ok, being slow it took me a moment to get it...the leaf in the water touching the reflection.
yem's well
shrivelled, body
touches the moon

ahhh...haiku that leaves a satisfied smile on the reader's face as the image completes, a wonderful capture here, autumn in a glimpse at something we might see everyday, which suddenly yields so much more. Excellent. Thank you for this fine entry into the contest and best of luck in the judging, welcome to the finals...PK
