you know when i started to write something for this contest, a shrivelled leaf was one of the ideas that popped into my head....and here you have it. What a wonderful haiku this is and so deserving of the gold. Congrats!

ahhh...haiku that leaves a satisfied smile on the reader's face as the image completes, a wonderful capture here, autumn in a glimpse at something we might see everyday, which suddenly yields so much more.
