Some Glimmer

My love it is an ocean ...
its depths no measure found.

With the world afraid of loving
Each person a kindled need...

Some glimmer, some hope, some where.

I reach out with a longing

Though there is no where I belong.

With a touch I should be waking

from these dreams that tenderly

weeping ... I sigh without opening my eyes.

The skies are filled with stars that long ago died
their light continues to shine

Some glimmer, some hope, some where...

Just like the love we shared
It is all that is left behind.

Some glimmer, some hope, some where.

    Sad but Rich

Rich in words with science, romance and emotion a poetic symphony of hope and the worlds need for love. I really liked this poem it was very good and you are true poet. I can't wait to read more.

This is a piece straight from the soul. I love the lines -

'With a touch I should be waking
    from these dreams that tenderly
weeping ... I sigh without opening my eyes.'

I feel your pain, so a smiling applaud doesnt seem to be appropriate at this moment in time.

    Cyber hug
    Tony

As always my dearest Tony, you find the sweetest ways to relate to me.

Your note reaches me at the best of times, I have developed a common flu and have been home this week. My high point of the day was in reading from you.
Thank you for your kind remark, it means more to me than words can say.
      Sincerely,
      Cheryl
