A warriors bliss

The words that i choose to tell you today
Just might chart the picture i choose to portray
Of a young man, once a long time ago
That upon him a quest for him to follow
Had been placed by the king on one cheerful night
There within the completion he'd be given a right
The right of a man, a warriors bliss
But through this bleak quest he'd face the abyss

To go kill the dragon, the killer of Knights
The dragon that easily doubles grave sites
He'd heard things about him, that while up in flight
He'd look down upon you, just waiting to fight
To swallow you whole and spit out your bones
The stories of pain have never been known
For the obvious reason, no one ever lives
They just go see that dragon and hope he forgives

Now this young man was stuck, not knowing what to do
He called upon his wizard, Kalamazoo
This old wizards tip was to duel the beast
In a way that it would not make him a feast
Kalamazoo had a nasty trick up his sleeve
A plot he'd been truly waiting to weave
It involved a delectable treat, a dessert
That would leave the young man very unhurt
A cookie, he said with a bright bursting glow
The magic solely known as Chocolate Joe-Joe's
The man gave the wizard a look of despair
The wizard said wait, allow me to share
This cookie you see, will keep you from death
It will keep you alive with lungs full of breath
Now go fight the dragon, with Joe-Joe's you'll win
And off went the man, gone to begin

He was searching all over for hours on end
Just keeping in mind his will to defend
The right on the line, the quest from the king
He was going to triumph and bring back a wing
He'd finally found him, the beast in a cave
Not thirty seconds later the man found his grave

When word got to the wizard that the man had died
He gave a quick sigh and sadly replied
I forgot that the magic Id told him was wrong
He should have brought the vanilla along
