where does creativity hide
when joy
breaks the surface
i try
again and again
to flush her out
thinking i can lure her
with false promises of pain
and sorrow
but she is wise
and cannot be fooled by
lies and desperation
and i cannot
create

eh...i'm trying to force my muse out of hiding, hoping it will stem a flurry of words...we'll see

When joy fills your thought, you don't need the muse to fill you up. LOL... I like to think of you glowing like an angel in the sun from days as soft as feathers. There will be time enough for you to find the wings of your muse again.

You know, I think as poets sometimes it is harder to write joy. Or it doesn't seem to come out right, or it won't come out when it is in the moment.
I'm likely not making sense now.
This is good, see it's working already.
