dotted with trillions of stars
and a Moon the size of an ocean,
I laid next to a secret in the shape of a man.
We both held our breath, listening
to the voice of the Moon...
(I bambini, che giaceva sul petto di mia sorella della terra,
non vivono nascoste o piccole.)
We asked our infinite questions of life to the Moon,
the sister of the Earth, and
swelled full with the change of season and cycle,
we heard the whisper of her wisdom...
(Vivere e morire senza rimpianto. Siate forti e orgogliosi.
Il tempo è fugace, vivere bene. Amore e di fiducia con cautela.
Ma se si ama, non completamente. Ed essere felici i miei figli, essere felice.)
And we heard what the Moon said to us.
It is too bad that we only spoke
the language of the Human Mind.

poem in English and Italian
Translations:
Children, who lay on the breast of my sister the earth, do not live hidden or small.
Live and die without regret. Be strong and proud. Time is fleeting, live well. Love and trust with caution. But if you love, do it completely. And be happy my children, be happy.
