DNA Chain

Designer of the universal sphere
No one can comprehend Your magnificence
And Your all encompassing presence

Chance encounters and random happenings
Have never brought about the intricate and subtle creations
Aroused and advanced by You
In my awareness of Your majesty and might I’ll
Never cease to come humbly before you on bended knees

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with El, and the Word was El.
2 The same was in the beginning with El.
3 All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. {comprehended: or, did not admit, or, receive}
Jas 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Master, and He shall lift you up.
Pr 29:23 A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.
Mic 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth YAH require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy Elohim?

    Excellent

I was deeply touched by your well chosen words to form this poem. I believe also that no chance happenings have made us, or this world, as it is, only a Divine Creator could take such a myriad of minute details and lovingly and wonderfully construct life as we know it

  • Ah...you can map HIS wonders and tap HIS secrets so beautifully..love the depth and the message around ...very well done poetry indeed..

I did in fact agree that you could make an argument against science, so thank you for taking your chance to express yourself. Since this contest was not a place for us to argue why intelligent design is not science, I won't get into that point here, and instead focus on the quality of the poem.

My only problem with this poem was it felt unoriginal. It may be because I ~have~ debated with proponents of ID in the past and seen these same words used in non-poetic form on more than one occasion, but I felt that nothing new was added in this poem. That's not to say it wasn't well written; in fact, I could see this easily slid into the last pages of a prayerbook or added to a Christian newsletter. It just didn't feel like I was reading anything new.

Nonetheless, thank you very much for sharing.

I have no doubt of light and dark
    no doubt of our Creator
the how down to each electron and proton there are as many views as religion,
I do love to follow science as much as I am able (without human perception in the equation)
there are many theories, but it is facts I've curious about, only because I have a curious nature
no doubt we are here through intentions,
the humility throughout your write is very true
I do find it hard to understand why it is so clear to some, more believable then anything you can see, but then others don't see
    another lovely soulful truth
I had read this earlier but I am haing floors put in today and so much noice I was unable to hear the videos on your links
intended to come back when quiet thank you for lovely and precious words

    God bless you Poetess...

    thanks for the cute critters
