White Addict

Her habitual struggle to focus
haunts her body, mind and soul
As if taken over by a white spirit
denying her life, her being is fractured

Brain dead and drowning herself
dusks egg her psychosis hell to burn
Infested by a single substance
and being controlled with every step

She cares not of her children
nor does she care about theirs
Her bliss has caused a disconnection
this jack-of-all-trades was now worn

Uttering the mere word addiction
would cut off ones head forever
Although this could be the answer
abandonment may be her only cure

A complete desertion of familiar faces
could possibly result in sobriety
Then again to hit a hard rock bottom
sadly may end her desperate existence
