I’m scared
But I keep my teeth barred
I don’t want anyone to see my fear
So I kick my tough act into gear
I reach out for help
But no one hears me
I’m trapped behind these walls
Alone, I walk these halls
I’m frightened and I don’t know what to do
And if you’re reading this I’m reaching out to you
You probably won’t hear me
But please, I need you to see
I feel alone in this world
I’m just a little girl
I need someone to love me
I’m not sure who I want to be
I have but one true friend
I’ll trust her till the end
I’ve got so many worries
It’s like trying to see through flurries
So please try to pull me out
Find out what I'm about

Author notes
Another poem I wrote 4 years back in Freshman year. Pretty much explains itself I do believe.

aww thats sad
-
nicely put
It can relate to most people in the way of trying to find themselves and the realization that in order to find one's self, one needs someone else.
