twiting and thrashing in an iron grip
tearing at the one who raised you
the one who you sought protection in,
now binds you to their unforgiving will.

you turn on those who try to help you,
they are nothing but the enemy now
you leap at the next failed freedom
and find yourself bound even tighter.

what will youdo when you're chained infinantly?
will you fight the ones who love you?
or let your enemies help you escape?
or will you slowly rot in your dismal prison?

what emotions does this inspire within you?

    Erm....

I think I've found my new favorite by you. At least a favorite of one of my other personalities. XD!! ! jk. This is freaking genius. Especially in it's simplicity. The blunt metaphors you use, are sometimes more than I can stand. I really really really really enjoyed this. It made me think. And reminds me of struggles in my own life. The same things I've done and been faced with, well captured, but agonizing because it's left to be rendered empty solution wise. O.O;; Brava on yet another great write.
