A Sonnet for Sofia, the Salad Maker!

Watermelon balls and snow peas shredded strips
knowledge so vast and imagination at her fingertips
perfection is her obsession, dressed in designs
made for her: always, always make her outshine!

You have an art like how children play with colours
if all in the world was edible, you’d even add flowers?
always thinking the unthinkable, what others don’t
even listening to songs which most people won’t!

It’s great to be different, it gives us will to survive
taking us higher with determination and drive
the song on your lips will always keep you happy
and take away the spells when life feels all creepy!

So, what’s the next element of your salad recipe?
Is it gonna be a lotus root, pumpkin or wild berry?
