A deadly rose with her killer thorns
Who can easily overcome our inner glow
A love to remember is a love to fight
But sadly we were'nt enough and it ends tonight
Everything around you lies for you to believe
But that doesn't define who are we
Anything red, white, black
Continues in our dark past
That's why a flower is sweet with painful twists
Just to remind us
That our race was just myth

    i love this! The picture and the poem are both so strong and send such a clear yet complex message! Great word choicing and you are a good freeverse writer! The last line is also too true! As with the rest of the poem as well! Great write!
