This Poem

Construction of even these
Simple and irrelevant words
A chore bordering on impossible
Forced and meaningless from afar
Unconnected phrases when deconstructed
Yet a feat worthy of praise.

Author notes

depicting the struggle to write despite lacking the motivation and inspiration necessary to create anything beautiful

  • Oh wow. You did an amazing job with this. The time was well spent and I believe this is perfect just the way it is. I wouldn't change a thing about it. You did great!

I'm probably getting this all wrong, but words are open to interpretation, therefore there is no right or wrong. And that itself is a lie.

I like this - the poem structurally/diction depicts the meaning of the poem to some degree. Sometimes it takes a while to get a 'good' poem/piece or writing produced. However, whatever is produced is produced and not all people can get nonsense into a piece of art.
