Remember that feeling
It was the 4th of July
You had that lighter in your hand
Setting off those illegal fireworks
Just to see my face light up
As I saw
All the red, blues and greens
It was on that cool summer night,
That our life changed and became an endless party
Until you fell into a that endless black hole
That you refused to crawl out from
I remember the smell of the tires on the tar
As you sped away from me
I can remember the endless fighting and yelling
That led to that dreadful night
All because you let yourself fall
