[d]

Looking through
  old-fashioned photoalbums
I anxiously await your face
to unleash the memories
    we could have had

We stare at the same sun
  at slightly different angles
in a world where tears are more
    than a tool of trade
          perhaps that's enough

I put away the photographs
  restless
and swing open a window
  to let out the tension

A thousand pixels
  can only say so much

and the smiles
are up to us
to interpret.

I love[d] you...

Very good poem, presents some good images of longing and sadness, especially the second stanza, which I think is brilliant. I think as has been said, that this poem balnces the feelings of love and sadness very well.

    good write =]

Whoa, very good stuff here. Love the longing, sadness, and the bracket. Very economical. Be proud of this.
