joshua,
there were sparkles in the night sky that implied stars hid behind darkened clouds. memories danced in between lightning strikes and amateur students, awaiting destiny and curiosity.
joshy,
she waits on the curb for the rustic vehicle to arrive.
her heart starts to pound and the rain starts to sprinkle and her hair is a mess of static electricity.
but she enjoys every moment and she screams and she laughs and she smiles for the first time in years.
josh,
lilac imprints hit his moist mouth as he tastes his first taste of regret.
/i'll tell her tomorrow, i will/
he gets up and walks outside to call the man he wants the most; the man who he truly loves, instead of the woman he pretends to.
joshybear,
sometimes it's hard to comprehend, but life has a funny way of staying alert even when the person living it is not.
so remember that when it's too far down to see.
love,
kelsi

I liked the way you used my name in different ways. Your imagery and metaphor were both superb and I liked how you described everything. It was kind of a coming out thing to which was excellent. Great job and good luck in the contest.

one, i love the way you do the different names and it adds to how hes trying to be someone hes really not.
but she enjoys every moment and she screams and she laughs and she smiles for the first time in years.
- and this imagery is so strong, i always see girls like this and sometimes even get jealous. but i know my time will come. i really loved that part.
he gets up and walks outside to call the man he wants the most; the man who he truly loves, instead of the woman he pretends to.
- and this was so unexpected, but i think its what made it.
i loved this, pshh. a beautiful ' poor ' letter.
