The Sun Tangoed

The pores pooled
as flesh, inhaled
the breeze that accompanied
the warmth of day;

Today, with its special
mission, poked fun
at itself as nature
continued to surmise
the beauty it had
yet to unfold;

upon its land
there lied,

framed
by bay and dew
a body
enraptured -

alone,

fabric- free
immersed
with life,

lifted

as the sun
tangoed
upon bliss
and its delight.

    I like the section of poking fun at one's self - if we can not do that in life then how can we laugh with others in life and find love and hope in people's eyes. I am new here, please visit one of my poems and if you care to, leave some thoughts. Thank you.
