Truth Revealed

His Dream

Night fell tenderly o'er nature's horizon
Tyrus slipped into his desires, private visions
of his lassie Lady Brina locked in his arms.
Their passion; their marriage,  her touch
her dark silky locks awaiting; so much.

Hauntingly sunset darken rapid heart beats,
his dreams asked him why he roamed?
Seeing Sabrina bellied-out, a babe kicking
about! Tossing, turning arising quickly
this cold sweat warned him to tell
all to his lady; "tis an unexpected tryst
a mistress or whore no doubt."

Besotted Lady B

On board she stood port-side in worry, wonderment
Still hiding her duel identity watching sunset, gulls cry
wishing the stars would hide her tears, with
it's misty cold autumn skies. Lady Sabrina recalled
their last joining a fortnight ago.
How he kissed her to sleep, how he loved her so
acceptance alas truth must be told.

Orders

"Bring the chit to me side; Josh ready thy bloody plank;
why doth thou stare? Move thy arse look not blank."
"Tis a lassie sir." "Aye! I must knowth if'n Red-Beard 's
daughter tis feeding me lies. When, where it took place?"

"Ye brace thy-self Cap'n Tyrus sire of me unborn child
I shall walk thy wicked plank not. I knowth the date
time, place thou took me to wife...look closer!"
Sabrina removed her red scarf, ebony waves spilled
o'er her shoulders, to her waist...wiping off her
face paint, thus removing her fake scare. Tyrus frowned
then he smiled. He had been duped by his Lady love.
His voice roared like thunder. "Why hast thou forsaken
thy nobility? Tis a Lady art thee not? Ye jest!"

"Nay me lord Tyrus.  Twas I whom stood afraid...thou
could reject me. Me father Red-Beard my sister,
I born of a harlot. Abandoned at birth by both parents.
Me sister Serena cut from me fathers hide. I suppose
I am too. Forgiveth me for falling on love with thee.
I am besotted, I twould die for thee."

Quite an adventure, dialogue really brings it to life, so much secrecy and angst, so much passion and life on an edge... very entertaining, like a good pirate story should be...PK

I don't know if he is, but I am. Is Lady Brina and Lady Sabrina one and the same? My head itches...

This dark, mysterious tale wriggles on, confusing even the protaganists. It is beautifully written; I must wander on through the rest of the story, and pray for enlightenment.

    I love you, Brazos
