My heart has kept a prisoner within its chamber door;
I feel the organ's beating pulse less and less more
Often than first was locked away this visitor.
One whom has overstayed the welcome once bestowed
For a gift received through promise now bowed.
Blood boiling, eyes glazed,
My hands have reached forward,
Conquering many a life of others.
Long past, I made a pact;
Staffed my life with sin by blood seal,
Filling my heart hollow to close the deal
As my soul cringed from Heavenly peal.
Time is gone by without one moment to pause
Still my hands yield to hear evil's applause.
To the Church:
Sinned, my brothers, I have indeed;
This, before you,
I do now confess.
Soaring, my spirit is almost freed;
What is my crime,
Can anyone guess?

"Priest referring to Jesus, the ONLY ONE who is the link between my repentance and God's Grace."
Well, I didn't have much time on my hands to do with it as I would like, but here it is.
I'm almost at a writer's block and school is wearing me down a bit, so it's not what I intended.

I understand school being an obstacle =/ I just had exams, so I'm having trouble with my writing as well... but nevertheless, you've still presented a powerful piece.
I loved these lines:
"Blood boiling, eyes glazed,
My hands have reached forward,
Conquering many a life of others"
You captured the mind of a killer here. Great job.
Thank you for your entry! -
cool
You're author's note is a little creepy. I like it, all of it.
