Living

Living
is harder then dying
Our spirits Trying to remain intact
from day to day
with each choosen step
to the next turning point
For which we shed a layer of skin
To become stronger than before
-reflect-
Before we became stronger
We had an extra layer of unwanted skin
From the turning point
We now see our steps
from day to day
Intact our spirits try to reamain
Dying is easier than
Living

I am completely intrigued by the contrast and structure of this thoughtful poem. The first part of this poem then the reflection stirs the imagination and gives one room to ponder. Well done my friend, Write On!

    Brother Dennis

Just a note: The word then in the second line probably should be than. just a humble observation, your poem, your choice.
