Uncover that veil again,
let me see into the future.
Let me see into what use to make sense,
what use to have cause.
Open the lids to all our eyes
and let the light unblind,
what we forgot.
Let us remember
what time has stolen from us
in breaths, in whispers, in seconds.
An instant that was veiled,
a story untold.
Uncover this veil, let it show
what we've missed in a lifetime.
Hide it, keep it folded
in the back of your closet
until...
you need to be lied to again.
(Just dont forget to take it off.)

The following is my favorite part:
Uncover this veil, let it show
what we've missed in a lifetime.
Hide it, keep it folded
in the back of your closet
until...
you need to be lied to again.
And it's brilliant. I liked the whole thing; it tells a truth that isn't often thought about, that most people that don't like to think about. You've done this very well.
Good luck in the contest
