Secrets of the Night

The purest white, the softest touch.
The dance of her flight, was missed so much,
As one strange day, she fell so deep,
Down into a secret she wanted to keep.

She was doing her duty of care and love,
With the gifts she was given from above.
But this fateful day she lost her way,
And decided the night was where she wanted to stay.

For what she discovered was a truth she thought right,
But she had been blinded by God and his awesome light.
Now she had fallen, she had found her way,
And deep in the night was where her heart would stay.

For there were whispers in the wind, locked up tight.
Secrets in the moon and stars of the night.
Secrets so pure, they melted her heart,
She knew from the darkness she would never part.

Beautiful. They rhyme seems to flow from the tongue when read aloud, and the idea of this piece was almost reinvented. It's a beautiful write that you have here, and I really enjoyed this write very much. Keep up the great and inspiring work!
