Radiant beams break through the somber dusk
With iridescent colors washing over silent stone.
Energy of purest form bursts through viscus barrier
Erupting into waltzing swirls of joyous song.
Feet are set to dancing in graceful pirouettes
While arms fly free like silken banners in the wind.
Oh, such Perfect Love is this!

Spiritual pirouettes...on twinkle toes she steps
into loves arena
an ecclesiastical ballerina...!
I can almost hear the music...feel like I'm dancing

Actually I looked for an image that would fit the poem that I already had in my mind. The inspiration came from a personal worship experience.

It seems several people have decided to let their words dance within this contest; perhaps it was the picture I'd posted that inspired the inclination. I'm glad, if that's the case. This is a lovely response to a precious picture of one who knows how and when to enjoy her life to its fullest. Thank you for entering my contest, katie marie. Good luck, Poet.

Waiter, I'll have what she's having! A very grand tone to this. Such a free-spirited write just oozing with love. Well done.

Zest and grace
I love the feel of this poem! It matches the picture, literally gives it life! I liked the contrast of words you used to describe the light: "radiant" to "somber dusk" and "iridescent" to "silent stone". The energy "erupting into waltzing swirls of joyous song" is purely inviting. This poem is truly uplifting. You have captured that "dancing" feeling of "perfect love" with zest and grace!

There is so much energy in this poem that I feel like popping - a knee, or a cork, or maybe both, and just dance across the face of love and smile with a smile as wide as god.

The Words...
...dance like its subject matter.
This looks like a landmark on the path of a maturing poet and artist. I'm particularly privileged to witness. May my sincere applause match the magnanimity of this composition.

Thank you. As you know of course, tis the source of the inspiration and His perfect love that takes it to that level. Since you have also tasted of that love, this piece naturally would awaken it within you.
