I shot speed in greed
Then me no need mouth feed.
And a seed could not plead
With me over mead 'bout creed.
Because like I said, "I'm so
fucking high I could care less
Chump with your bandanna
and three dollar strut
saggin' an such
Shaking yo' buttasse".
You were like
"Wait! Why not tooty
in your nosey wosey?"
And I was like "what, and miss an
opportunity to implode my kidney
Widneys?"
Wow, you're so tough
and multi faceted
I just bet you're great
in the sack, and your
book collection? Holy
Macshit brother Numesy.
You must have a lot
going on upstairs
Probably inventing
a new body of God
manual to include
brakes that work
for them inclines.
Sip the blood of
Christ don't dupe
the priest to look
left then guzzle.
We need shoot speed,
and a muzzle.
Hair and nails go crazy long
and our eyes turn wicked pretty with twitch.
Music for hours, people talk but no we hear
Them since the focus is more than they
can balance off on hands and knees or elbow.
Blow man blow big sax wail through skin and
eye to rubber ball into wall
bounce back in your face
vibrate plus tickle our chilled toes.
Fingers go cold too.
Capillaries shut down
Circulation doubled
Tongue all a swole
We are to three in the morning
What huge black emerald backed
juicy flies happening upon
old shit are to no morning
This morning I made
Lemon poppy muffins
and watched everyone
else savor slow,
and chew them up
just so, eyes a
rolling, mmmmmmm.
Sleep the sinner.
Library erections.
Two more steps then
Infinity broken.
No refunds when
the dam turns back
into wet cement
Since when did
you start dressing
up like Corey Haim?
"Super cocaine"
No thanks
Amphetamines
I'm a fiend.
Speed is standing still
while falling.
So shoot that,
and make me a
sandwich.

An addiction is anything I was told that was mind altering
Never shot speed but known people who have
One to get you up one to bring you down
And endless cycle
Well crafted here sweets you described it to a T
Good luck in the contest
Love n hugs

Excellent mood/tone stuff.
Don't eat drugs, children.
Don't breathe them or otherwise stuff them into yourself.
Drugs are bad, like Nancy Reagan said.
Honestly, I dunno...
altered perceptions can be a useful, fun thing.
But then there's the whole selling-your-dog-to-get-another-fix thing. Ups and downs to everything. -
Though I've never partaken in drugs or drug culture and for the most part haven't the foggiest as to some of the lingo here, I have been close enough to people who've done or do drugs to wonder what the hell they think they're doing!!
It's sad to see, and somehow I believe it's even sadder to be a part of it. You've done an excellent job with this piece ...it sure makes me think, gives some insight as to the attraction.
Good luck in the contest

A friend of mine once took some speed and stood by his front window for 3 bloody days.. after he'd danced solid for 24hours.. it was awful.. even though I was a staff nurse at the time..I've never been so damned scared.. he pee'd and shit himself.. he was so lucky.. I know, plenty of people experiment.. it's just the gits who make the stuff, who cut it with crap that worries me alot..even now
But your write was intersting foresure.. well done nephew

great. you managed to, at least to some degree, capture the feeling of speeding. twitch. reminds me of my days in the desert, where we used to smoke it, snort it, but i never shot it, and never even liked it really, in fact i hated it, then kept smokin it anyway until I realized i hated it. that shit was always free, well it didnt cost any money, and I could do as much as i wanted. ANd i wanted none. I dont get Meth. I cannot see how feeling like that can be construed as feeling good.
anyway, my boy Pat shot in in his neck and he used to be my best friend and is now a paranoid turnip. -
Very kewl style
Wow, this is very Joyce-esque in terms of infusion of sporatic thoughts with statements and imagery. The tone is very distinct, and your word choice fits beautifully with it. Very good job-truly a "trippy" poem, "man". -
??????????
I don't get it but I've never been part of the drug culture. Perhaps it will make sense and reach someoneelse but left me still wondering why anyone would want to take drugs.
