Little one,
I see you there.
You’re in that stall again.
I’ve seen those diamond tears fall.
They hit your frail face so gently,
And I can’t bear it so I whisper softly,
“I love you.”
Breaking me,
I’m here for you,
But you’re pushing me away.
Squares aren’t meant to be circles.
Love, you’re rare; uniquely you!
I gave my last breath just for you!
I love you!
Look here,
You’re priceless myrrh.
Your fragrance is sweet; it’s beautiful.
I told the sun to shine just for you.
Intricately woven in my hands,
I will never let you fall off those strands.
I love you!
Baby girl,
I see you scrambling.
Looking at all those magazines;
Blindfolded by the world, they’re misleading.
Let me show you real beauty!
You’re perfect just the way you are!
You are my twinkling, shining star!
I love you!
Sweetheart,
Dance with me now.
Stop running to the bathroom.
You deserve only the best I have.
I’ll give you the prince who’ll adore you!
Loving everything I created true in you.
I love you!
My darling,
Get up off that floor.
Beauty is radiating from your heart!
You are my significant, pretty pearl.
Your body is my grand masterpiece!
The jewel I created so precious;
Look in my eyes as I say, "You're flawless!"
“I love you!”

it's interesting. i like the lines "Squares aren’t meant to be circles. Love, you’re rare; uniquely you!" you definately capture the essence of how society affects people's thoughts, and you wrote about bulimia with a light touch. in the first stanza, there is an inside rhyme - stall and fall. It isn't supposed to rhyme I don't think, but it rhymed in my head when I read it through and kind of threw me off. besides that, good job. amazing write :]
