"for a lonely soul you're having such a nice time."
- keane.
they say that the gift of solitude
its virtue is
kindred spirits -
i seek your solitude,
at least the edges of...
the rare open and genuine flower of you
keeps me from feeling alone,
i enjoy my solitude too.
above and beyond all chit chat
and such
superfluous nicety
i search for that subtle touch
that sacred cause
of twitching lips,
it is there i chalk the line,
there i kiss an airy song
and there i wait with
desire's feeling fingertips,
tremelous tears,
not quite falling
just forming in joy,
clustered and caught in lashes
and all these words! waiting to burst
from these latent lips.

i seek your solitude,
at least the edges of...
i really dig that...edges of... awesome.
the brevity of each sentence created a nice flow to the poem and the imagery and end lines were quite lovely.
