"Tis near me island where flowers sing
whist birds dance to love's harmony.
I found passion aboard his brigantine
me dashing pirate waltz-ed charmingly."
"Within thy arms I dropped me sword
knowing I wanted to cut thou tart.
Twas I whom stole thy pearls silver, gold
me matey's blasted thou ships apart."
"Nay one knew of our sweet hideaway
until me found tons more of thy booty."
Word reached me scurvy, frantic crew
Dutch doth all pirates become so moody?
By a million stars he 'd navigate me soul
blooming kisses master each inch of me.
On the sandy shore of this lovers cove
sharing a bottle of rum; "I loved thee."

The language is stellar! I feel the gentle splash of waves against my brow after reading the wonderfully placed words. You captured a sense of yore with the words you chose and the images you painted. Excellent! Congrats on earning the Emerald Chalice.
Much Love ♥

You know I loved this wonderful and sensual take on the Pirate Cove. Your words were so softly spoken as if they were the feathery touch of a warm summer's breeze.
Thank you, and best of luck with this.
