Lately I've been listening to a lot of Miles Davis and Joe Pass to try and build up a certian understanding of jazz a little better. I'm still a bit foggy on how all of it works to be honest, I understand the progressions but the improvs and changes can still seem a bit alien to me.
I'm still studying music theory, my notebook is getting full quick
I've also noticed some cool ways to bounce some notes using short bursts of chromatics. I think it really adds some flavor as long as you don't overdo it.
