Halloween Fright

Gremlins and goblins
Ghouls and ghosts
You better beware
When they draw close.

Look out for the vampire
Watch out for the witch
With a swish of her wand
You'll wind up a fish.

We'll carve up a pumpkin
To scare them away
Only they are not real
Because it's Halloween Day!

So cute, so fun. The shortest entry 've seen in this contest yet, and one of the best. YOu summed up the essence of Halloween in 12 short lines. TWELVE! lol. That's impressive. I would say the middle stanza is my fave, but I love them all
Thanks for entering my contest and good luck!

Thanks! I always enjoy writing stuff for kids, although it is sometimes difficult.
