I see her rising
like a chestnut on
winter’s eve
Eyes closed
against his brilliance
pores open to his steam
Slowly warming
to perfection as fire
graces her seed
An instant
of germination
humanity can’t see
Burnished hues
leave the scenery
barren forests turn green
Sleeping hollows
resurrect, breathing
magic from streams
I see her falling,
like a chestnut on
midsummer’s eve
Out of place,
yet quite perfect
as she smiles at me

How did I not comment on this the first time around? Maybe I needed to step back a bit in order to........take it all in!
Spellbound by it all and not wanting it to end

I enjoyed this read very much.
...Sleeping hollows
resurrect, breathing
magic from streams...
A very impressive line, which compells the reader to imagine...
Read my snippet titled, "The Mother Goddess"... we share a interest in the sacred aspects of nature.

It has always been a pleasure reading your work, and this is no exception.
The thoughts behind the lines are just stunning, and bring a warmth of there own.
I could go on, but I think all have seen the beauty in this, and also found that some perfect subjects can be portrayed in completely perfect ways. Just like this...brilliant, as always.

Beautiful poem. Certainly one of my favorites, I find myself coming back to read it again and again.

The visuals are stunning! Each stanza ignites the other and leaves the reader spellbound! She and He make nature blossom to exquisite heights in this richly written work of poetry. I would change absolutely nothing. What a splendor!

What an enchanting poem, filled with beautiful imagery and metaphor
It nakes one wonder at the mysteries of nature, her toil to bring forth such splendidness.
An absolutly profoundly beautiful write
And the background is gorgeous, fits the poem right on
