If Tomorrow Never Comes

Missing image

Would this old world be
remembered by anyone

out there anywhere ~

I wonder who would care if

our tomorrow never comes?

Simple and stunning, this piece in brevity just gave life to the page. It is a standing point question and I guess no one will ever know the answer but the question, you posed it beautifully.

Life is here. Rejoice in it and let tomorrow work itself out. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Beautiful words.

An interesting question Cyn, so many stars have burst into life and after countless ages died. the chemicals in our bodies where made in stars long dead. We are Star stuff, looking at the stars. We are consciousness/energy, and energy never dies, it just changes its state. Not my words, this is a basic law of physics, if it applies to chemical reactions, why not to us?

I was just thinking these thoughts this morning...

... though not in your words, but similar ponderings... when my cat ate a bird and left its remains for me to find under the dining table... and also thinking about the meaning and purpose of it all... and how we evolve as we grow and learn... expanded consciousness and all that... becoming something else again... thank you for sharing your thoughts on the matter.
      Peace,
      Cyn

Everthing we see can be a lesson, your cat eating the bird, that can carry all sorts of messages as i am sure you know

    VERY THOUGHTFUL!

I have often wondered myself, just would anyone elsewhere in this universe remember this earth if it ends today. I feel there is much in this universe and our small planet would not be noticed by many at all. Thinking alone these lines really humbles one doesn't it!

      Yes, it does humble...

I had originally written this for a contest entry in one of Desire's contests, then I saw that she had a rule of at least a minimum of seven lines, so I had to remove the poem from her contest. I only have five lines here, but that's OK, I like it the way it is... Thanks for stopping by to read my work today!!
