Wishing a fragment of reality would fester from dreams
I seek solace in fantasies, wondering what we shall be
Though in lucid moments I lay against your chest
Society taints the purity of the moments we have
Like a broken window I falter as breezes change
quivering on a threshold to keep atmospheres tame
Each chime of the clock rendering a helpless stance
And yet, for you I'd still will a timeless romance

The bond created out of Love, Partnership. I could go on, but don't want to cry.....
Love you,

Excellent
The trials, thrills and insecurities of being involved in a forbidden romance.
Oh whar a tangled web we weave when first we practice to decieve.

Hmm, good point. I never thought about it from that aspect. For me it isn't so much about a forbidden one as one that those around them don't approve of due to differences in social standards etc. Thanks for the comment
and new perpective

I feel this poem reflects the title well and love the first stanza and the second is leaving wondering how society taints, but it a good wondering. I confused on "atmosphere's tame" (it's the 's) but I'm happy again to read the last stanza!
