There's more than just one side to me
there's one and then the other
and one is always labelled me
and one is called my brother
But we are both the same in ways
that none will soon discover
for half of him is all of me
and half of half my lover
For truth to take it out on you was harsh and deemed as fair
So fair it was that I took breath and smothered it with air

excellent!
A very though evoking write you have penned. It is so true that there is more than one side to a person and I like the way you have defined this with your words here.
I really like these lines:
"for half of him is all of me
and half of half my lover"

Keep up the great work my friend!

This one makes me think of conjoined twins...

Doesn't make me think of much. I was just about to shut the computer down when the first two lines floated into my head, so I quickly built a poem beneath them and left it here.
