Today we laid her neath the sod
Friends and family gathered 'round
Mixed tears of sorrow and of Joy
Her soul now in the hands of God
No more sickness - no more pain
This World's loss is Heaven's gain
Take heart loved ones left to mourn
That you will see her once again
( Farewell Pearl )

Sorry to hear of your loss. My condolences and sympathies. You wrote this with great passion and hordes of love. May she rest in eternal peace. I am sure you will miss her but she fought the good fight to have lived as long as she did, especially after battling cancer.
Blessings & LOVE ♥

Yes it is sad. I know if pearl didn't meet Jehovah I know God will resurect pearl like all others. John 5:28, 29. It is a very nice poem Joe. All your poems are great.
Remember everything has a solution even death.
-Bless Jehovah God-

Beautifully sad....
Hi Joe...I am sorry to hear of your loss of a friend here. You have tributed her quite well in this short but endearing piece. You are right, this world's loss is heaven's gain for those who know and love the Lord and pass from this life to the next. Your rhyme is very nice and does not trivialize this sad time at all. But it does display care and respectfully gives comfort to those who were blessed to be touched by Pearl's presence in their lives. Thanks for sharing and again, my condolences to you and Phyllis at this time of mourning. Bless God!!! ~~~Toni~~

For the Comments/Compliment and applause - our mourning is short-lived then turns to joy when we give our head a shake and realize that this time on Earth is short-lived - like the morning dew; here at dawn - gone by noon - I was thinking to-day that we are here on borrowed time - Bless God Toni - Joe - dobar dan
