A promise of something better

Here on the edge of could have been's
flying high trying to touch the can be's
hovering where light meets dark.

Promises of better days are silently whispered
however, it is your silence
that is crushing me
breaking me down.

A dark
frightening
place
of broken mirages
just above the horizon
lies
the promise of something better.

    Great message in this write. If something pass you by it's only because there is something better waiting on you ahead. This is what a *4 yr. old lady told me once when I was thinking of giving up on my dreams. Turns out she was right. Once again you blow me away with your talent.

    Thank you for sharing this beautiful wright with us, it perfectly portrays what I'm going through at the moment. Unfortunately, promises are broken so often that it seems impossible to believe. But we have to, cause that hope of promises being kept is what makes us go on.
