White Noise

Pictured on flights of fantasy

In the middle of nowhere

Hopes of stardom emerged...

With a spilt second chance

And an award winning smile

Dreams grew wings...

But with every camera flash

She saw white.

Oblivious to those around her

The world of glamour beckoned

Drawing her into a tighter embrace...

Til she saw nothing

Blinded by her own talent.

And with each success

Cheers from her fans became

White noise...

The lines were open

But she couldn't hear.
