so let me sing you to sleep
i've got a dozen treasures to keep on
rolling
songs off my tounge when its a pouring down rain
bringing them to life with all of the simple things
and does it matter to you
that i love you for all that you do...
and could it matter at last
your heart is sealed on too fast
take my lullaby lasting
you'll always...
make it better please stay
i'm sorry girl...
so let me sing you to sleep
i've got a dozen treasures to keep on
rolling
songs off my tounge when its a pouring down rain
bringing them to life with all of the simple things
and does it matter to you
that i love you for all that you do...
and could it matter at last
your heart is sealed on too fast
I am nothing without you
darling
you leave, and then i will fade...
i'm sorry girl...
so let me sing you to sleep
i've got a dozen treasures to keep on
rolling
songs off my tounge when its a pouring down rain
bringing them to life with all of the simple things
and does it matter to you
that i love you for all that you do...
and could it matter at last
your heart is sealed on too fast
it doesnt matter at all...
anymore, what is this feeling...
inside...
empty space, resides
so let me sing you to sleep...
these words have cut me too deep...
my heart aches for its unique...
desires

awe- you've GOT to video yourself singing your pieces... sure, they'll be crappy in the beginning lol (as with any endeavor) but you'll get GOOD at it... your vibrato is coming from your stomach, which is one style, another is from the deep back of your tongue, in your throat, very lightly there goes a long way... (it's good for high-volume passages, the belt 'em out parts, and for crooners)... three clappies for bravery... you've got a good naturally loud and clear voice, with just a hint of street-wise raspiness... (mine tends toward Elmer Fudd lol )
ah, on lyrics- the best ones are the ones you've lived- these are contrived... write from experience, KISS doesn't cut it anymore... go out there and love, and fall on your face... you tried to write 'lyrics' here, rather than life...
and on recordings- the best performances/recordings are the ones the singer 'meant' when singing it... in other words, the singer was immersed in the words, not looking in the mirror at technique... you're somewhere in limbo here...!

I apologize for not being able to leave anymore of a constructive critique but I did thoroughly enjoy listening to My Lullaby Lasting and appreciated your style of delivery.
Well done indeed.
