The wind tends to itself,
helping to push along the seasons,
I turn as leaves fall around me-
gloriously colored in deep amber and gold hues.
slight chill in the air,
jackets pulled tighter
murmurs of missing the Sun's rays of days that are forever gone.
Soon, Winter's frost shall entomb this land, and silvery grays will be seen.
pictures will lose their definition,
and I along with them.
How I long for the spring, flowers poking-
their heads out of the ground, after a long and dreary sleep.
Birds chirping,
rejoicing over a new arrival.
These seasons,
they come and go,
leaving a little piece of me behind.

For many the cold winds of winter led to a case of depression. I loved your conclusion that each season captures a small part of you. Thank you for your entry. Peace, Liz
