a moon lit soul

twilight, a beautiful time.
the moon is just now rising,
we rise with it too.
i slip silently through the forest,
serching for our place.
im here in a moon lit garden,
she is there too, perched apon
the boulder at its center.
silver rays are cast apon
her soft yet marble white skin.
then everything is dark, the
moon, hidden behind the clouds,
but not for long, it re-apears.
the two young people are no
longer there, in there place
two wolves. one, with marble
white fur, lithe, and sleek is
perched apon the rock. the other
obsidian black, powerful sinew
ripples under his thick black coat.
they move as one, locked in
a dance, chalanging, inviting.
they dance forward, then leap
apart again, the black wolf
seeking to impress his future
flame. finaly they come together
one more time, this time she is
submisive, rolling onto her back,
presenting her unprotected belly
to him. he moves over her and
leans down, bearing his teeth as if
to rip out her tender throat.
instead, her rests his teeth against
her throat, pressing just slightly
to show his dominance.
he releases her, his nose moving
through her fur, a low growl
emits from his throat, not one
of warning, but of anticipation.
his nose wanders further down,
a lick here and there, untill
he reaches the soft fur,
covering the portal to her womb.
she jumps up and growls at him,
startled by his cold nose. a low
broken sound escapes his throat,
almost like a chuckel. the moon
finaly rests behind the horizon,
and the first light of dawn begines
to show, they come together again,
curling against each other, having
found each other at last, they rest.
in the morning they are gone,
and in their stead, a young couple,
curled in each others arms,
sleeping in their special garden.
