I like it. I'm not really a huge fan of Haiku but I really like this. I had to look up he word Harbinger though but that's not a bad thing, it's good. Always a good idea to expand the vocabulary! Anyways I thought it was a wonderful little Haiku and I absolutely enjoyed it. Thank you. =]

I love this. It reminds me of how when it rains many like to lay in bed while listening to the peaceful sound. Great job. I really loved the first line especially.

    one pace picks up rapidity

unusual with climaxing claim. sometimes it's that very ending afternoon when it's felt, a quick signal to catch on as chill in air or misty "solitary harbinger" for new kind of hour as minutes soon finish and seasons too. this is as noticing on the dot!

also, it parallels for me a swift collective quality involved observation can take, as of a child's growth

fine to read, fun to reread --

Thanks so much for your kind comments. I'm really glad you liked it. I wanted to capture that feeling of time going by, an announcement of things to come, etc... and convey it to others. I really appreciate your observations.

    Beautiful

I love this poem. The imagery is beautiful and I just dove into your poem as if to feel the experience myself. I'm so impressed when poets can write in this form. Honestly I can't and I actually don't even know about forming poetry. It's kind of embarrassing but I've only written poetry for 3 years at the end of November. I just write and it's almost always rhyming poetry. Well maybe as time goes by I will learn when I get some time to study it some. Thank you for sharing your gift to write poetry with me. Best wishes to you in the contest.

    Wishing You Many Blessings,
    Much Love Always,

Thank you so much. For one thing, your poetry is beautiful. For another... it doesn't matter what form the poetry is in. Poetry, to me, is heart-art! haha Shaped in words. If it is from the soul... real... honest, for good or bad... it is poetry, and it is art. I wrote poetry a long time ago... then I stopped, and I didn't pick it back up again for many years. (long story there). I found it again a few years ago and will not push it away this time! haha It fills a void that you don't even realize, until you write. Being able to express yourself in a way that is as free as poetry is just amazing. You can rhyme, not rhyme, (do like I do with much of my writing and put words here there and everywhere, all over the page! haha), whatever the heart feels, it's okay to do. You can put one word on one line and it's ok! It's art, heartfelt. Keep up your beautiful writing and I look forward to reading more of your work.
