my thoughts of you,
were never true.
it made you glad,
when you made me sad.
thats what i saw,
in the midst of it all.
but i was wrong,
what took so long,
to show me whats true,
what i never knew.
The things you,
that made me cry myself to bed.
Were never true,
that was never you.
You had me thinking you were so cruel,
then you sent that text and now i see through,
that shield you put up around you,
your armor that hides what is true.
My thoughts have changed,
and they wont be the same.
You are a new you,
the one i never knew.
