Why the lingering scent, cascading through my being
The intensity of needing physical contact eminating
Frustration of remembering why I left in the first place
Forced to endure chemical illusions of your face

But to touch is forbidden ...

Author notes

This is what it's like sometimes to get over someone who never really hurt you, but there was always something missing between you ... and that emptiness is forgotten when you part.. And it sometimes takes all you have to remember it so that you don't do something you'll regret later...
Chemical attraction can be cruel.

p.s. Ignore unrelated Spider Man ...

Please tell me what you think

    Muahahaha! "Unrelated Spiderman".

These lines bring out a very frustrated emotion that I am all too familiar with,

"The intensity of needing physical contact eminating"

"Forced to endure chemical illusions of your face"

While I do not understand why you cannot just be friends, I suppose it is smarter in the long run.

It's actually better that he "isn't talking to me" ... because it gives me a reason to keep a good perspective without his oxytocin clouding my head. Lol. Besides, he's going through rough times now, because of the choices he's been making, which have resulted in situations that are against his favor.
But I'm so glad for what I did. I'm proud of myself for realizing that it's not up to me to 'save' him. I was tempted to think that if I had stayed he would have changed... Buuuttt... no. He writes his own destiny.
