I must ask why?
And, Who am I?
I'm drowning in a sea of faces,
desperately searching for traces,
of what, I've now long forgotten,
of something always lost, and re-begotten.
Surrounded by good friends, never felt so alone,
A wind sweeps the crowd and chills only me to the bone,
bringing to me the longing for the euphoria of dreams.
Invisible strings pulling me apart at the seams,
stuffing spilling out, never felt so exposed,
no one cares, no help or fate is interposed.
Heart goes from clay to stone, clay to stone,
never felt so alone.
Pick up a blade, knowing what's in store,
just can't take anymore.
Ram it through my heart of wood, and a curtain falls.
Gently sliding down my whole world's walls,
and along with it, despair it brings,
For I never even lived, for I was a puppet, on strings.

I liked this, the last line reminds me of a story idea I had a while back.

This is stunning.
This is really weird but this is kinda like how I'm feeling....
This is spectacular.
I especially love this part

This was good and very moving. It was interesting. I would have too say that this is my favorite part;
I'm drowning in a sea of faces,
desperately searching for traces,
of what, I've now long forgotten,
of something always lost, and re-begotten.
Surrounded by good friends, never felt so alone,
A wind sweeps the crowd and chills only me to the bone,
bringing to me the longing for the euphoria of dreams
But overall this was great. Keep up the great work
