From a distance you showed me who I could be,
your love and acceptance enabled me to grow,
grow into what, someone who lives alone?
I can't truly grow without you here,
so what is it all just a wise owl fallaciously?
I am nothingh without you, I am nothing,

so I will live my days knowing If only I was someone else,

maybe, just maybe, I'd get to feel your heart beating,

next to mine as I said Thank you God....

I will not and can not stand by and be nothing anymore.

I can't be a dreamer who sees a dream that never comes true,

I can't be someone just because you say that I am.

I always wanted to be someone, it felt real, I had a life, a future,

but the sweetest dreams are made of nightmares...

    So true, nightmares can come in many shapes and forms, and get us when we least expect. A strong heartfelt piece, quite a sad air to it, very neatly penned!
