You're the very best friend I ever had
You've turned my life around
You tell me when to calm my nerves
And pick me up when I fall down
When I need help, everytime without fail
I can turn to your waiting embrace
But you seem to know instinctivly
When I need to talk, and when I need space
And now you say "Im joining the army!"
And expect me to rejoice
But the fear of you being sent away
Leaves me unable to find my voice
How can I fathom my dearest friend
Fighting soldiers in a war?
Other countries political messes
Are NOT worth losing you for
What if you never make it home?
What am I to do then?
How am I supposed to cope
If I lose my only friend...

This is such a wonderful read. I can really feel your emotions taking place. This is a serious matter in the world with political powers against themselves but other people pay the price. Well done.
