so you want to write poems
the words have to come from
your soul
you may want to begin by first
looking in a mirror
and searching your soul
funny thing mirrors
if you breath on them
lightly words appear
must come from way down
deep
these are the words
plain words from your heart
that make a poem
simple and true
they catch you unawares
their simple truth
you know
they connect with you
rhythmically
be fond of plain words
they can be remembered
be humble in your position
stay with your soul
let it resonate like
a waterfall quenching
a thirst to know
be kind be true
plain words.
